From the on-premises cupboard to the cloud, ALE provides customers with the opportunity to choose the solution that’s right for them.

It’s a competitive world out there and no matter how big or how small, enterprises know they need innovative and flexible solutions to stay ahead of the pack. An affordable communication solution and robust collaboration tools that won’t collapse under the weight of today’s mobility requirements are required. The question is: What will that look like for you?

Luckily, we have something for everyone. ALE services can be installed on-premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid model with communication servers and Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow™ technology. But we don’t do it by ourselves. Together with our partners, we develop secure and reliable solutions that keep everything and everyone connected.

Our focus on user experience and our commitment to flexibility are important as we create tailored solutions for customers in the government, education, healthcare, hospitality, and transportation sectors. And while we recognize that every sector comes with its own set of specific requirements, we believe that many are searching for ways to enhance digital engagement, without compromising on security and performance.

Achieving great things in the midmarket or enterprise space is about being able to connect with patients, customers, citizens, guests, passengers, employees, and anyone else that makes sense. Offering a range of deployment models, from on-premises to the cloud, provides customers with the flexibility they need to create the digital transformation journey that’s right for them.

Exploring the possibilities

An on-premises strategy can offer forward thinking companies, with legacy equipment, an opportunity to extend mobility and improve team collaboration. Security, reliability and serviceability are key to these deployments.

With Alcatel-Lucent communication servers (OXE, OXO Connect) users can keep their mission-critical business communications on-premises, while at the same time, keeping options for future growth open. For example, you can connect to the Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow™ cloud-based application to tap into collaboration solutions. The Rainbow Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) solution also offers SDKs and APIs to integrate with third party applications to connect people, objects, and processes together.

Organizations can also choose a hybrid or fully cloud-based deployment for their business strategy. We offer deployment models that include hosting with Alcatel-Lucent OpenTouch® Enterprise Cloud (OTEC) solutions, or third-party support, as well as hybrid models with the above mentioned combination of Rainbow and any communication server. OTEC offers a full OPEX pricing model,   on a pay-per-user-per-month model. You only pay for what you consume. This means that we basically have a solution for anyone in search of collaboration and scalability from the cloud. It really is digital transformation made easy with flexibility for you to choose every part of your transformation including the price strategy that fits your budget.

Communications under Rainbow

We’ve talked a little about Rainbow, but here’s what you really need to know. For customers looking for a hybrid approach to the cloud, Rainbow offers a comprehensive overlay to existing communication infrastructure. It delivers feature-rich capabilities including; presence, audio and video calling, file sharing, and instant messaging. The system is also incredibly simple to deploy, with the option to download and install with just a single click.

Rainbow integrates seamlessly with OmniPCX® Enterprise and OXO Connect, as well as a variety of other non-ALE PBX systems, so there is no worry about losing the investment you’ve already made in on-premises equipment. Additionally, Rainbow can also act as an open CPaaS solution with APIs that allow you to integrate your collaboration tools into existing business processes and applications.  As well, the WebRTC gateway enables simple communications to and from any device enabling you to take full advantage of the hybrid communications approach.

There’s no doubt that technology such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the demand for collaboration will continue to drive new and innovative solutions.  At ALE, we are ready to assist from on-premises to the cloud as you evolve from the needs of today to meet the demands of tomorrow. Learn more about our ALE cloud solutions and how Rainbow can take your communications to the next level.
