Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise announces the appointment of Rukmini Glanard as new Executive Vice President Global Sales & Marketing and the creation of the Chief Operating Officer position, which will be held by Matthieu Destot.
Paris (France), January 01, 2019 - Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, provider of enterprise communications solutions and services, announces organizational changes within the Executive Management Team. ALE continues to accelerate the company’s transformation and build a stronger structure to support its business. These changes comprise the appointment of Rukmini Glanard as Executive Vice President Global Sales & Marketing and Matthieu Destot as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Over the last two years, Rukmini Glanard has successfully managed the EUNO region by stabilizing and growing the business while creating an effective regional organization model. She will build upon this success as Executive Vice President Global Sales & Marketing to fuel ALE’s business growth in the year ahead. Her main priority will be the adaptation of the sales strategy focusing on Verticals, Cloud and Services to the regional needs. She will namely leverage customer proximity and intensify sales efforts in certain key countries to actively promote ALE’s ecosystem of solutions, bringing relevance to its customers in their industries.
ALE has also appointed Matthieu Destot to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer to strengthen the ongoing execution of the company’s transformation strategy. Matthieu Destot will support the CEO in the day-to-day operational management of the company. In addition to the Executive Management Team governance, his specific focus areas encompass the company’s internal and external communications and public relations. In addition to the COO role, Matthieu will lead the newly created Cloud Communications Business Division.
