Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise takes part in the Gartner IT Symposium/XpoTM 2022 conference as “MarketPlace” sponsor
Paris, France – November 21, 2022 – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, took part as MarketPlace sponsor to Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™ 2022 conference which took place from November 7-10 in Barcelona, Spain.
This year’s symposium brought together 7000+ CIOs and IT leaders at an in-person event, for the first time since the start of the global health crisis, to explore the technology, insights, and trends shaping the future of IT and business.
A number of ALE representatives were available on stand 311, close to key partners Avaya and RingCentral. They engaged in conversations with organisations across all industries, presented ALE solutions that support enterprises in their digital communications and networking and explained how they are helping businesses with their digital transformation goals.
Laurent Bouchoucha, ALE’s VP Business Development, Network Division, had a dedicated speaker slot on “Bridging IT & OT gap for Digital Transformation success” where he explained that the key to a competitive advantage and stronger productivity in the enterprise and public sectors is IoT-based digital transformation but that large-scale IoT deployments put intense pressure on IT in terms of workload and cybersecurity. His session explored how network automation built into modern collaboration platforms is a game-changer for digital transformation. Company objectives are indeed met faster when IT and Operations teams use common technology tools and speak the same language.
Another conference was held by Dimitri de Rooze, the Data and Digital Transformation Director of ALE’s Belgian customer Zorgbedrijf. He presented on how Telephony played its role in accelerating Zorgbedrijf’s digital transformation processes to protect their care residents during the pandemic. Telephony, especially UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service), was essential in improving their customer care and experience. It also served to support staff and helped them to overcome major challenges throughout the health crisis.
