Enrique Sánchez, new Country Business Leader for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Iberia

Madrid, January 10, 2021. Enrique Sánchez has been appointed as the new Country Business Leader of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, for the Iberia region (Spain, Portugal, Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde).

Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Enrique held various executive positions in Spanish and multinational companies in the telecommunications solutions and services sector, including being the General Manager for Iberia at Westcon-Comstor. Prior to that he worked for COLT, a service provider. He has extensive experience focusing on sales and contributing knowledge to go-to-market strategies.

Astrid Savorani, vice president of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise for the Southern Europe region, explains that “Having Enrique, at a time when technology suppliers are committed to helping companies maintain and improve their business through communications, will be very valuable in helping us to consolidate and grow our business, as well as the satisfaction of our clients”.

According to Enrique, “Joining Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is a source of pride and a challenge. There is the pride of joining a team of highly qualified professionals in Iberia and in the world, a global corporation that unites its long experience in corporate telecommunications with its ability to design and promote disruptive technologies in network infrastructure and communications. Then, there is the challenge of leveraging the capabilities of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and our partners to grow our common business. If 2020 was a year of success navigating digital transformation, 2021 should be one of growth and investment in which we will help partners and clients with their business strategy after the health crisis.”

Enrique holds multiple business management degrees, including a PDG (“Programa Dirección General”, General Management Programme) from IESE Business School and a LDBT (Leading Digital Business Transformation) from IMD Business School, and has continued his leadership training at Harvard Business School and Stanford School of Business.
