- Jan Zuurbier moves from Global Sales & Marketing to lead strategic planning for ALE
New leadership has been appointed in ALE senior management for Sales & Marketing and the Communications business division.
ALE, operating under the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise brand, today announced changes in the senior leadership team with the appointment of Matthieu Destot to lead global Sales & Marketing, while Nicolas Brunel will head up the Communications Business Divisions.
Matthieu Destot will take over as Executive Vice President for Global Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. Mr. Destot has an extensive background in both sales and marketing and business line management. Most recently he lead the transformation of the Communication Business Division, placing a focus on specific market segments for growth and accelerating the shift to new business models. In prior roles, Matthieu delivered significant revenue and market-share growth achievements as sales leader of the Asia-Pacific and France sales regions for ALE.
Mr. Destot will replace Jan Zuurbier, who will continue with the company as an ALE board member. Mr. Zuurbier will focus his responsibilities on strategic planning to steer the future of ALE.
Nicolas Brunel, who previously lead the Medium, Large and Vertical (MLV) Business Unit within the Communications Business Division, is now Executive Vice President of the Communications Business Division, taking over from Mr. Destot. Mr. Brunel has over 16 years experience in telecommunications and gained international expertise in enterprise services and customer care domains as the leader of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise global Customer Care organization.
Both Mr. Destot and Mr. Brunel will be members of the Executive Management Team, reporting to the CEO, Jack Chen.
