Sunrise platform certified to deliver Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise UCaaS.

ALE, operating under the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise brand, today announced Sunrise Communications AG (Sunrise) has completed all the necessary platform certification requirements to deliver Alcatel Lucent OpenTouch® Enterprise Cloud (OTEC) to the large-enterprise market. The certification ensures the platform, processes and communication interfaces meet all necessary functional and security standards.  

Alcatel-Lucent OpenTouch Enterprise Cloud significantly reduces upfront investment for large businesses, with a low-cost, pay-per-user approach to modern communications. Businesses benefit by connecting existing corporate IT infrastructure and mobile devices through a rich suite of Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C) tools.

The Sunrise managed UC offering is provided on a consumption-based licensing model, designed to allow organizations the flexibility to scale up or down in scenarios such as high seasonal demand, organizational transformation or workforce expansion. The service is now made available to Swiss businesses of all sizes, from small and medium to very large organizations of up to 50,000 users, bringing cloud-based UC&C capabilities to the largest multi-site organizations and connecting dispersed, multi-site workforces. 

To address evolving workplace models and the broad digital transformation taking place in Swiss-based businesses, content sharing, instant messaging and near field communications (NFC) capabilities are available across employee devices in addition to industry specialized applications. The OTEC solution can be tailored to the needs of organizations in vertical markets, including hospitality, manufacturing and contact centers, and provides each customer specific UC&C functionality which aligns with industry needs. 

The new offering is securely operated and maintained by Sunrise from data centers located in Switzerland. Sunrise is the first and only telecom provider in Switzerland to have its entire organization, both the company-wide technology infrastructure and its operational processes, certified to the ISO 27001 standard for its Information Security Management System (ISMS).
