You may encounter issues when using your Plantronics audio device with the Rainbow Office softphone. The app may not respond to your audio device button commands. This might happen when the Plantronics Hub may not be installed on your computer. The following must be checked to avoid having issues when using your Plantronics audio device with the Rainbow Office softphone.
Plantronics integration must be enabled in the Rainbow Office softphone settings
1. Launch the Rainbow Office softphone
2. Go to View settings > Notifications and sounds > Sounds tab
3. Make sure the toggle button is turned ON or enabled on the Plantronics headset.
Plantronics Hub must be installed and running on your computer.
• Check if it is installed.
For Mac: Go to Finder > Applications.
For Windows 7: Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
For Windows 8 and 10: Go to Control Panel > Uninstall or change a program.
• Check if it is running.
For Mac: Locate the Plantronics Hub icon in the Status menu or locate it in the Dock.
For Windows: Click on your Icon Tray area and find the Plantronics Hub icon. If you did not find the Plantronics Hub there, go to the Plantronics website in order to download and install it.
