This article provides information regarding the various settings in the Rainbow Office Video online account.

There are two ways to get to the Rainbow Office Video online account settings.

1. Before joining a meeting, click the gear icon located on the upper-right corner of the screen, then click Settings.

2. Alternatively, you can also click More > Settings during a meeting

 

Below are the configurable options in the Rainbow Office Video settings:

Adjust the volume

Change the number of visible participants 

Check the speakers and microphone settings

Change your camera

Connect your calendars

Manage delegates

Set entry and exit tones

Receive email notifications

Automatically turn off view and mute audio when joining meetings

Enable notification sound when the connection gets broken or restored

How to adjust the volume

Slide to the left to decrease the volume, or slide to the right to increase the volume. Click the Mute button to mute the audio.

To mute the audio

Click Unmute to restore the audio.

How to change the number of visible participants

Use the slider button to adjust the number of participants that are visible on the screen. Slide to the left to decrease the number of participants. Slide to the right to increase the number of participants. The maximum number of visible participants on Rainbow Office Video Online is 16.

How to check the speakers and microphone settings

Click Audio to configure the settings for your speakers and microphone. If there are several audio and video devices connected to your computer, you can select the ones you prefer to use. After configuring the settings, click Save.

Speakers

Click the drop-down box next to Speakers, then select the speaker to use. Click the link test to play a test sound. Check your speaker and make sure it is properly connected if you did not hear the sound. 

Microphone

Click the drop-down box next to Microphone, then select the microphone to use. To test your microphone, you have to speak to check the microphone's volume. Adjust the volume on your microphone as needed.

How to change your camera

Click Video, then click the drop-down box next to Camera, to select the camera to use.

How to manage delegates

1. Click Manage delegates.

2. Enter the name of a contact who can schedule meetings on your behalf. Click Add.

3. Click X to exit the setting.

How to set entry and exit tones

1. Click Preferences.

2. Click the toggle button to enable or disable this feature.

3. When this setting has been enabled, the following options will be visible. Select your preferred setting.

4. Click Done.

How to receive email notifications

1. Click Preferences.

2. Select when you prefer to receive email notifications.

3. Click Done.

How to automatically turn off view and mute audio when joining meetings

1. Click Preferences.

2. Select Automatically turn off my video when joining meetings and Automatically mute audio when joining meetings.

3. Click Done.

How to enable notification sound when the connection gets broken or restored

1. Click Preferences.

2. Select Play tones when connection is broken/restored.

3. Click Done.

How to enable desktop notifications

1. Click Preferences.

2. Select Show desktop notifications.

3. Click Done.

How to automatically join audio with computer

1. Click Preferences.

2. Select Automatically join audio with computer.

3. Click Done.

How to automatically enter full screen when viewing screen shared by others

1. Click the gear / settings icon on the upper-right corner of your screen, and then go Settings > General.

2. Check Show video gallery when viewing screen sharing option.

3. Close the Settings window.

How to disable Screen Share Full Screen View During a Meeting 

1. Click the Settings button in the meeting controls, and then go to Settings > General.

2. Check Show video gallery when viewing screen sharing option.

3. Close the Settings window.

How to enable accessibility mode

1. Click Preferences.

2. Select Enable accessibility mode.

3. Click Done.

How to view your phone number, extension, and Personal Meeting ID

1. Click My account. The following information will be displayed:

• Your name

• Email address

• Company

• Extension

• Phone number

• Personal Meeting ID

2. Click X or Done to exit the setting.

How to view your Personal Meeting invitation link

1. Click My account.

2. Click the Gear icon next to your Personal Meeting ID.

3. Below Join from PC, Mac, iOS, Android, click the Copy button next to your invite link.

4. Paste the link to your email invitation or share it with your messaging or chat application.

5. Click X or Done to exit the setting.

How to view the Dial-in number, Participant and Host access codes

1. Click My account.

2. Click the Gear icon next to your Personal Meeting ID. Below the Join from telephone section, you will find the Dial-in number, Participant access, and Host access codes.

3. Click X or Done to exit the setting.

How to allow meeting participants to join before the host

How to mute participants audio

1. Click My account.

2. Click the Gear icon next to your Personal Meeting ID.

3. Below Meeting options, select Mute audio for participants.

4. Click Done to exit or Start to launch a meeting.

How to turn off participants camera

1. Click My account.

2. Click the gear icon next to your Personal Meeting ID.

3. Below Meeting options, select Turn off camera for all participants.

4. Click Done to exit or Start to launch a meeting.
