Unable to make outbound calls. "Calling Unavailable" is displayed on the upper-right corner of the Rainbow Office softphone.

Cause

The Calling Unavailable message generally means that the application is unable to connect to the Rainbow Office SIP servers due to any or combination of the factors below:

Network configuration

Internet connectivity

Third-party applications (e.g., Firewall, Antivirus, VPN, etc.)

Resolution

Follow the steps below to address the issue:

Ensure that your internet connection is stable and is fully working

Disable any applications such as third-party firewalls or VPNs which may affect the flow of traffic within your network
