The purpose of this article is to provide instructions for copying or deleting text messages and other options when viewing a text message in the Rainbow Office Phone app.

About managing text messages

You can manage your Rainbow Office Phone app text messages by navigating to the phone menu via the side menu bar. Beneath the Text section in the left pane, a list of all active text message conversations is organized with the most recent messages at the top.

From this section, you can manage your text messages such as deleting a conversation or specific message, blocking a number, and more. Please note that some of these options may not be available to you depending on your company account permissions.

Let’s review the actions you can perform on a text message below.

Deleting a text message conversation

To delete a conversation, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Phone via the side menu bar

2. Under the Text section, hover your mouse over the conversation you’d like to delete and select the kebab menu icon on the far right

3. Click Delete from the dropdown menu to open the Delete conversation? modal window

4. Select the Delete button

Once you delete a text message conversation, you will lose the history of that conversation and you will be unable to recover that history at any time.
