This article provides information about using headsets with the Rainbow Office app and how to enable headset support within the app settings.

The Rainbow Office app supports wired headsets which allows added flexibility for users when handling inbound and outbound calls:

Optimizes the experience between the headsets and the Rainbow Office app

Control the call using the headset’s buttons or use the buttons in the Rainbow Office app

Call controls from selected headsets – answer, end, mute, unmute, volume up, volume down

Requirements and Compatibility

Supported OS

MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later

Windows 7 or later

Supported browsers

Google Chrome and Chromium Edge 79 and above are the only supported browser for joining a meeting via a web session.

Enable headset support in the Rainbow Office app

In order to use a headset with the Rainbow Office app, you need to first enable the Headset support feature in the app settings.

After connecting your headset to your computer's USB port or via Bluetooth dongle, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to Rainbow Office app

2. Click the Settings (gear icon) at the bottom-left control pane, then select Notifications and sounds

3. Scroll down to Headset support, then click the Headset control toggle switch to enable it
