Create Multi-level IVR Menus in XML

This article provides instructions on how Users with Administrator access can create Multi-level IVR Menus in XML via the Rainbow Office online account.

1. Log in to the Rainbow Office online account

2. Go to Admin Portal > Phone System > Auto-Receptionist > IVR Editor tab

3. To download the appropriate sample IVR XML file, click Single Level IVR or Multi-level IVR

4. Edit the sample IVR XML file to create your IVR menus. The XML file must follow the correct format to avoid errors in the IVR configuration

5. Below Import XML file, click Import, then select the XML file to be uploaded. Rainbow Office will be able to detect configuration issues as soon as you click Import. Depending on the type of error, you will either be asked to manually fix the errors in the XML file and upload it again or click Accept and Continue to accept these issues and proceed with the intention of fixing them later manually

6. Click the IVR Menus tab, then click Validate Menus to help you identify configuration errors in your IVR Menu and specify the settings that you need to change

7. Proceed with the changes, then click Validate Menus again

8. When all settings are valid, click OK
