New cloud service models from ALE and offered by business partner Sunrise, help Swiss businesses adopt Unified Communications.
ALE, operating under the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise brand, has announced that its premium partner, Sunrise, is the first company to launch the Alcatel-Lucent OpenTouch® Enterprise Cloud (OTEC) to the Swiss market. The new Sunrise offering delivers Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) through a variable consumption-based model, and the company will initially focus on providing a low-cost-to-market solution for mid-market enterprise customers. The solution offers secure, always-on Unified Communications that delivers collaborative tools including instant messaging, voice, video and content sharing to boost productivity and maximize business responsiveness.
The OTEC solution has been designed to work seamlessly alongside existing traditional telephony technology and enables organizations to evolve to a modern communications platform at their own pace and grow a communication and collaboration capability that directly meets their business requirements. The flexible ‘consumption-based’ licensing model makes it easy to scale up or down depending on changing requirements.
Designed primarily for MLE customers with 150+ users, OTEC will provide Sunrise with a path to develop new offerings to meet the needs of different market segments and vertical industries. This is possible as OTEC is a fully flexible cloud solution that enables Sunrise and its reseller partners to build offerings for customers from a differentiated range of communication services based on UCaaS modular building blocks and flexible licensing models.
