Single Pair Ethernet (SPE)
Reduce cabling costs and secure critical operations with a modern IP-based communications and IoT connectivity solution.
Organizations face a costly dilemma: replace legacy cabling or leverage existing infrastructure. Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) technology reconciles digital modernization with the physical constraints of existing buildings.
SPE enables IP traffic and power over a single copper pair up to 1,000 meters. It guarantees VoIP performance, isolates voice networks, and reduces building renovation costs. You can replace analog phones and non-IP DECT base stations with VoIP and IP-DECT equipment without re-cabling, keep voice on a network physically separated from the LAN, and avoid the cost, disruption and carbon footprint of new copper.
Capacidades-chave
Reuse your existing cabling
Run Ethernet over just one pair of wires on Cat 3, 5 or 6 UTP cabling. Connect VoIP equipment without re-cabling
Up to 1,000 m per link
10BASE-T1L reaches well beyond conventional Ethernet limits, for large premises and distributed equipment.
Data and power on one pair
Remote power feeding supplies the connected device along with data, up to 6.49 W, with no separate power line
A separate, resilient voice network
Keep voice devices physically separated from the LAN, so calls stay up during a cyberattack or a preventive network shutdown.
