Alcatel-Lucent recognizes South Korea partners advancing AI-ready infrastructure at Connex26 Partner Event
Seoul, South Korea – June 1, 2026 ALE International, operating under the trade name Alcatel-Lucent, today recognized seven South Korean partners at Connex26 South Korea. The event brought together 130 partners and resellers, with senior Alcatel-Lucent leadership sharing the company's vision, strategy, and partner priorities for an AI-accelerating market.
According to Microsoft’s Q1 2026 Global AI Diffusion Report, South Korea recorded the fastest growth in AI adoption globally, with AI users increasing by 43% since June 2025. As AI becomes increasingly embedded into enterprise workflows and digital services, organizations face growing pressure to modernize the networks, data center environments, and communications systems underpinning business-critical operations.
Building AI-ready infrastructure for South Korean enterprises
Connex26 South Korea showcased Alcatel-Lucent’s capabilities to help South Korean enterprises build secure, resilient and AI-ready infrastructure.
- OmniVista Management Platform: Empowers IT teams to manage network complexity with contextual assistance grounded in product documentation and live network data, while supporting configuration guidance, anomaly investigation and remediation workflows.
- Wi-Fi 7: Supports mobile workforces, IoT devices, real-time applications and AI-enabled workloads with high-performance, efficient and reliable connectivity.
- Mission Critical Communications: Delivers secure, reliable communications in environments where coordination, uptime and operational continuity are critical.
The event also celebrated exceptional customer success stories, underscoring how Alcatel-Lucent solutions make a tangible and visible difference to customers.
- The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) selected Alcatel-Lucent as the foundation for its newly relocated Busan headquarters, with an integrated network and unified communications solution. Deployed across the main building and annex, the solution supports secure connectivity for CCTV, IP telephony and other critical building systems, while providing a full enterprise telephony environment for staff.
- The Republic of Korea Navy selected Alcatel-Lucent to modernize LAN infrastructure across 16 bases, 136 sites and 53 naval vessels, replacing end-of-life switches across both shore-based facilities and active warships. Alcatel-Lucent was also selected as winner for the Navy Education Command project, where it deployed a defense-grade wireless LAN environment for mobile-based military training. This deployment demonstrated how Wi-Fi 7 capabilities and mission-critical communication solutions can help customers strengthen connectivity in demanding environments where reliability, security and performance are essential.
- The Korea Coast Guard (KCG) refreshed network infrastructure across its headquarters and regional offices with Alcatel-Lucent solutions, building a high-availability, security-hardened environment supported by unified management and proven public-sector deployment experience.
- International St. Mary’s Hospital replaced its aging network infrastructure with Alcatel-Lucent’s solutions that deliver significantly higher switching capacity, uplink bandwidth and wireless performance to support modern hospital operations.
- Seolhaeone modernized network infrastructure across its luxury resort properties in Yangyang, Gangwon-do, strengthening connectivity and performance while meeting the experience expectations of a premium hospitality environment.
