Marius Istel becomes Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Head of Channel and Alliances in Germany
Paris, France, July 1, 2025 – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of secure networking and communications solutions that enable organizations and industries to accelerate their operational efficiencies and competitiveness, named Marius Istel its new Head of Channel and Alliances in Germany, starting on July 1st.
Marius gained extensive experience in indirect sales, having held many important roles in ALE's channel team. He has built and cultivated strong partnerships with German businesses. In his new position, Marius will drive growth in autonomous networks, AI-driven Unified Communication (UC) cloud, and real-time communication. He will report directly to Christian Förg, who is Senior Vice President for Germany.
Marius is starting his new role at a time when European sovereignty and partnerships between European suppliers gain significance for businesses and governments. In this shifting market, he will work with partners and his channel team to find, develop, and deliver new business opportunities to clients.
Before leading Channel and Alliances, Marius managed NTT, a key business partner in Germany. Prior to this, he worked to develop business with value-added distributors.
Istel holds a Master of Applied Research in Engineering Sciences - Electronic and Mechatronic Systems. He also completed an MBA at "ThePowerBusinessSchool."
