ALE reinforces its industrial presence in France by relocating the assembly and integration of its communication servers.
Paris, France, March 31, 2023 – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, the European leader in enterprise telecommunications, announced on March 10th, 2023 the opening of its new industrial site in Laval (Mayenne) in France, which now houses the assembly and integration activities of the company’s communication servers (PABX).
The signing ceremony with COFIDUR Ems took place at the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise headquarters in Colombes in the presence of Mr. Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Delegate for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, as well as several other government officials.
I am proud to be here today at the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise headquarters to celebrate the relocation of the communication servers to the COFIDUR Ems plant in Laval. Re-anchoring the history of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise in France, in Laval, after the inauguration of new offices in Illkirch last July, means regaining our industrial and technological sovereignty in strategic solutions, such as the assembly and integration of communication servers. I am delighted that Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has chosen France and brought back its activities from Romania: this is a sign that France knows how to be attractive and seduce people with its potential and talent!
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has decided to redeploy part of its communications systems production to support the reindustrialisation objectives of its home country, France. This commitment to industrial relocation supports Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's CSR policy by having a positive impact on the environment and reducing the carbon footprint of product shipments to France, its primary market.
