ALE simplifies the management of its business communications platform, through an innovative cloud-based approach augmented with artificial intelligence
Paris, France – October 2, 2025 – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of secure networking and communication solutions enabling organizations and industries to accelerate their operational efficiencies and competitiveness, has launched Unified Management Center (UMC), the next generation Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to configure its communication platform based on OmniPCX ™ Enterprise Communication Server Purple (OXE Purple). UMC is available worldwide and aimed at mid-market customers.
UMC features artificial intelligence (AI) assistance through an integrated natural language chatbot guiding the operator through even the most complex settings. Based directly on the corpus of documentation maintained by ALE experts, this virtual assistant powered by ALE is designed to be the indispensable companion for quickly and efficiently configuring all telephone system features and associated applications (such as Rainbow™ by Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise when connected to OXE Purple).
UMC enables the OXE Purple system administrator to simply and efficiently manage all elements of telephony operations, allowing them to:
- Manage users, groups and their telephony equipment (desk phone, mobile, softphone or Rainbow application).
- Create public network access via SIP trunk to the SIP service provider of choice.
- Use “Expert mode” for advanced administration including remote secure connection to the phone system and access to all settings.
- Seek AI assistance based on information from the ALE technical product documentation.
