The Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch® 6850 and OmniSwitch® 6850E switch families entered End-of-Sales product life cycles effective May 1, 2012, and April 30, 2016 respectively, due to customers adopting the next generation Stackable LAN OmniSwitch 6860 product family.
