Using keyboard
There are 2 ways
to use keyboard on your desk phone:

Use
the magnetic alphabetic keyboard connected to your desk phone: ALE-10 keyboard (sold separately).
·
Use
the alphanumeric keyboard.
The alphanumeric keyboard is disabled when
the ALE-10 keyboard is connected.
Magnetic alphabetic keyboard
You can connect a
magnetic alphabetic keyboard to your desk phone for a more comfortable user
experience (sold separately). See the following
chapter for more information: ALE-10 keyboard (USB).
Alphanumeric keyboard
An alphanumeric
keyboard is built into your desk phone, using its own keys. It is not necessary to install a physical
keyboard to input text.
When you need to
enter text in a text area, the numeric keyboard automatically switches to the
alphabetic keyboard.

When entering text in a text area, press this key to
switch the input character order as follows: ‘a2B’ è
'Abc' è 'abc' è 'ABC' è
'123' è 'a2B'.
The default order is: ‘a2B’. You can choose your preferred order to be

The number pad
keys have letters that you can display by successive presses. To make typing easier, the list of
characters associated with a key is displayed and the character to be used
after pressing a key more than once is highlighted.
Some special characters can be displayed by

Your desk phone can also be
equipped with a magnetic alphabetic keyboard: ALE-10 keyboard (sold separately). In
this case, the alphanumeric keyboard will be disabled and the numeric keypad
will allow you to enter numbers directly.
Use cases:
: '1' is displayed.
(2 successive presses): 'space' is displayed.
: 'j' is displayed.
(2 successive presses): 'k' is displayed.
(5 successive presses): 'J'

Utilisation du clavier
Le clavier sur

Les touches du
