Kornwestheim, June 16th 2021 - The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise infrastructure will provide a communication platform with LAN, WLAN, optimized network management and IP telephony.
ALE, operating under the brand Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, has teamed up with BMW to become the official Connectivity Partner for the BMW International Open, the longest-running European Tour event in Germany since 1989. This year it is the 5th year in a row Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise will be responsible for implementing the entire network and communication infrastructure for this tour event, which runs from June 24 to 27 at Golfclub München Eichenried near Munich.
Germany's premier golf tournament and one of the highlights of the European golfing calendar, the BMW International Open, attracts some of the game's greatest stars and many sports fans each year. This year, organizers, partners, VIPs, and journalists from around the world, and visitors can stay connected throughout the tournament via secure high-speed internet access both on and off the course.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solutions will support the event, ensuring a personalized connected visitor experience via a full local area network (LAN), wireless LAN, and IP telephony communications platform (including DECT) for the event organizers and the world's media. Seamless connectivity can also be accessed from the club house, public areas, and the course grandstands.
