Network as a Service (NaaS) offers hardware, software licenses, applications, and services in a flexible subscription model.

Demands being placed on enterprise networks are growing rapidly. Users have more devices, expect more bandwidth and a better experience, and they need to connect anytime, anywhere. In addition, with the Internet of Things (IoT) your network is not just connecting devices, it’s powering them too. The network has become a critical element of the enterprise. With the Alcatel-Lucent Network as a Service solution you can manage your network and manage your budget. In addition it lets you address:

  • Capacity requirements for higher device density

  • The need to reduce operational costs
  • 24/7 support
  • The shift from product, to solution, to service

NaaS flexible subscription model

  • NaaS let you move from selling technology and features to selling services, from CAPEX to OPEX, from perpetual to subscription-based models, either on premises, or in a public or private cloud
NaaS is a services suite that includes LAN and Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar WLAN access point hardware
  • For LAN Switches and OmniAccess Stellar WLAN Wi-Fi devices, NaaS includes, at no additional cost, hardware support (Hardware Limited Lifetime Warranty) to replace a faulty device, and Software Support that provides the right to upgrade firmware running on LAN and OmniAccess Stellar WLAN Wi-Fi equipment

With NaaS, network spending shifts to an OpEx model where the company pays a “per month” fee for the network. This creates a flatter, consistent spending pattern that is easier to budget for... Instead of trying to squeeze every last packet out of a switch, businesses could upgrade the product at every contract cycle ensuring the company always has current technology.
