Challenges

CPS wanted to update and standardize the LAN/WLAN network six years after the installation of the original solutions in the new headquarters of Centro Paula Souza, in São Paulo. At the time, the CPS network relied on: AlcatelLucent OmniPCX® Enterprise, Alcatel-Lucent IP 8128 wireless terminals, Alcatel-Lucent 4029/4039 Digital TDM devices, core and edge Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch® switches and Alcatel-Lucent videoconferencing.

The new project addressed the increasing demand for network services by upgrading the LAN/WLAN network to improve performance and support new technologies, platforms and protocols. In addition, the standardization of solutions was required to enable centralized management and maintenance.
