Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and Iremos combine expertise to provide crisis management solutions

Paris, France June 3, 2020 - Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions, is pleased to announce its collaboration with Iremos, a consulting firm and software company dedicated to crisis management and the implementation of strategies to ensure safe sites and secure travel for the banking, maritime, energy and engineering sectors.

Addressing operational challenges

When difficult times arise, having a strategy and an action plan enabled by the Iremos Crisis platform allows each member of the crisis unit to address the situation at hand. These tools can guide companies through the stages of the event and facilitate the much needed crisis management. However, managing crisis situations can be challenging when teams are not co-located.

To address this need, Iremos has partnered with ALE to integrate the Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow™ solution into its platform. Rainbow will enable the members of the crisis team to collaborate in audio and video conferences automatically, or with just one click. Together the ALE and Iremos solution will facilitate communications and enable decision-making to optimize required action. This combined solution is only the first phase of an evolving partnership. It is Iremos’ goal to deliver the mobile, efficient and connected solutions that crisis management teams need, when they need it.

Complementary expertise

The ALE Rainbow solution enables users to communicate instantly, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers using chat, audio or video calls, screen sharing, and conference from a smartphone or computer.  ALE provides a unique technical skill set to complement Iremos' expertise.

"ALE provides resilient and secure solutions to enable quality partnerships with companies like Iremos. We are proud of this human and technological collaboration which highlights Rainbow as a facilitation solution to deliver real-time, secure communication in crisis management environments."

Jean-Philippe Lenot, Head of Strategic Partners, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise

Iremos provides the experience necessary in setting up virtual crisis units. Based on an agile and proven methodology, the Iremos Crisis platform supports the implementation of an operational organization that enables crisis situations to be managed effectively.

The Iremos Crisis platform allows each decision-maker to share information and consult in real-time throughout the crisis situation. However, in partnership with ALE, this is evolving to include audio and video conferencing to facilitate decision-making and help guide team actions.

"Good crisis management requires absolute fluidity in exchanges. The pooling of software/solutions developed by Iremos and ALE will enable the players involved to exchange relevant information in real time and thus facilitate decision-making. I am delighted with this collaboration [, on which we have been working for several months, and] which makes even more sense in the current context."

Arnaud Kremer, Chief Executive Officer, Iremos

A meaningful collaboration

ALE and Iremos, both based in France, have been recognized for many years in the fields of technology, communications, and crisis management. The technology partnership initiated in 2020 make it possible to provide a superior, encrypted solution that guarantees the security of their crisis management and communication tools.

ALE and Iremos share a common vision based on respect and proximity to the customer and as such have responded to the call from Cédric O, Secretary of State for the Digital Sector, France, inviting technology companies from across France to mobilize in the face of the recent health crisis.  ALE and Iremos have made their solution available, free of charge, to French companies to help with business continuity during this pandemic while ensuring data confidentiality with tools designed with crisis management in mind.
