ALE supports FMI network expansion

August 30, 2024

Telecom service provider deploys OmniSwitch solution to improve network and customer experience

We were pleased to be able to collaborate with our partner PT Quinsis Lintas Mitra to showcase in a trial for FMI how our OmniSwitch solution with SPB could help them resolve the issues their network was facing and improve performance for their customers. SPB is significantly simpler to deploy and maintain than more traditional methods of moving network traffic and is a key differentiating feature of our solution.
Novse Hardiman, Country Manager, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Indonesia
Shortest Path Bridging is a foundational technology at ALE that has proven its reliability to support diverse customers and industries around the world, as it has with FMI in Indonesia. This technology is versatile, simple and reliable and helps to address the shortcomings of Spanning Tree Protocol. It continues to be a key differentiator for us, and we are glad to make it a key part of FMI’s business expansion project.
Damien Delard, APAC Vice President Channel & SEA/NEA Head of Sales, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise
As our business grows, our aim is always to provide an efficient, reliable network that exceeds the expectations of our subscribers. ALE has demonstrated a strong commitment to our success by providing excellent assistance from both technology and business perspectives to help make our business expansion project a success. We are delighted with the real-time performance and recovery time of our new infrastructure in Greater Jakarta and cities in the Java area.
