New Development Solution Partner Program (DSPP) enables rapid development of complex applications and tailor-made real-time solutions for networked logistics, healthcare and the public sector
Kornwestheim, Germany – 06 March 2020
The new partnership between Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and parcs IT-Consulting is paving new ways of executing Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) projects. Digital transformation and vertical integration are key concepts in the age of Digitisation 2.0 and Industry 4.0, that link people, machines and products. In so doing, the cooperation between Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and parcs IT-Consulting is setting new standards for event-driven real-time applications.
As a leading provider of communications, network and cloud solutions, ALE is putting to use the Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow™ app, a cloud-based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), as a key component in these applications. Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow collects data from objects in complex IoT environments, structures it and makes it useable, regardless of the communications systems in place. Based on a high-performance open architecture the app pursues a hybrid cloud approach and can be integrated into Alcatel-Lucent OXO Connect and Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX® Enterprise as well as into non-ALE-PBXs.
parcs IT-Consulting contributes to the partnership with the VANTIQ platform, for which the company has a master reseller contract for the DACH region. VANTIQ is a platform for creating real-time applications with as yet unmatched speed in the industry. It imports and analyses the data and operates in real time Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Autonomous Vehicles (AV), Augmented Reality (AR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Services und Smartphones. The highly productive low-code platform enables even extremely complex undertakings to be carried out quickly. As a result, users get agile real-time business and event applications with a very wide range of uses, such as smart cities for example, in which a flood alarm system guides people on the safest route to the next rescue zone.
Digitization also plays an important role in healthcare. Hospitals can work more efficiently and be more economically successful if relevant data is recorded in real time with minimal effort to support the control of organizational processes, such as bed management, surgical material, food, laundry and much more. Complex applications that combine and analyze data from various sources to carry out real-time actions can henceforth be developed in a few weeks instead of years.
Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow CPaaS projects are programmed by parcs IT-Consulting and allow applications to be developed and go live in a short amount of time. The Rainbow CPaaS solution is an integral part of these solutions for improving collaboration between man and machine, providing real-time messaging and enabling seamless communication on critical business issues. The combination of VANTIQ and Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow enables real-time business applications with a wide range of functions, which integrate web, mobile, IoT, existing systems and communication.
According to Gregor Burow, Director of New Channel Development at ALE Deutschland GmbH, another advantage of the partnership is its enhanced ability to rapidly implement projects: “Beyond its own in-house consultants and developers, parcs IT-Consulting also has a large network of freelance employees, all of whom are trained in the VANTIQ platform, which helps us act quickly during development.”
ALE and parcs IT-Consulting enable companies to be agile and change the way they work by using cutting-edge technology. For Johannes Schmitz-Lenders, CEO of parcs IT-Consulting, the key to success lies in “preparing well and acting quickly. Organisations want to make advancements and are looking more for solution providers than consultants. The trend from infrastructure as a service to platform as a service makes ALE a natural partner in a trend environment in which companies are completely switching over to the cloud. VANTIQ and Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow are high-performance technologies and, in combination, offer a great opportunity for any company pursuing the path of digital transformation.”
“In order to remain competitive and stay on the right side of disruptive innovations, event-driven applications which combine systems, devices and people in real time and allow them to communicate with one another will be needed in the future. Together with parcs IT-Consulting, we have succeeded in addressing customer requirements for integrated, tailor-made real-time applications,” underscores Gregor Burow, Director of New Channel Development at ALE Deutschland GmbH.
