Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise appoints Christian Förg as Senior Vice President Germany.
PARIS, FRANCE, October 26, 2023 – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, has appointed Christian Förg as senior vice president for the Germany region. In this position, he is responsible for the overall business in the region and reports directly to global chief business officer Rukmini Glanard.
With the appointment of Christian Förg, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has also made an organizational change that highlights Germany as a separate region in the global organization and specifically addresses it as an important market. At the same time, the reorganization also represents a stronger focus and a clear commitment to the company's investments in Germany.
In the newly created position as SVP Germany, Christian Förg is responsible for the complete sales management in the vertical markets on which Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise focuses, but also for the development of the partner business and its strategic orientation towards digital transformation. As part of this, Christian Förg has HR responsibility for all employees of ALE Germany from Sales, Presales, Partner Management and Support.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise considers France, the United Kingdom and Germany to be important markets in Europe and sees considerable growth potential here. Drivers are the transformation of digital infrastructure toward autonomous networks, hybrid cloud solutions, and greater integration of IoT environments, with a focus on enterprise data integrity and data security.
