ALE welcomes Bavarian State delegation at EBC

Colombes, France – 2 July 2024 – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, was pleased to receive a delegation from the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs, including Dr. Fabian Mehring, the Minister for Digital Affairs, at its global headquarters in Colombes, France. The visit was part of a multi-country tour including key public events and tech shows focusing on cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The minister and his delegation were received on May 23rd by Nicolas Brunel, Executive Vice President, Communications Business Division and President of ALE International, who led the visit of the Colombes offices, where ALE employees enjoy the benefits of a complete hybrid working model. Nicolas stressed Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s commitment to ESG, and the wellbeing of employees in particular. He also highlighted concrete ALE initiatives with a positive environmental impact, notably moving manufacturing capabilities back to France to reduce the carbon footprint of shipping to European customers. The topic of European data sovereignty was also discussed. The tour included a visit to the Executive Business Center, ALE’s unique facility where customers, partners and official delegations from around the world come to discover ALE innovations and experience live demonstrations. The showcase included key technologies developed with several leading French technology start-ups that help Public Safety authorities substantially improve crisis management with the support of AI. The delegation also engaged on ALE’s participation in award-winning European Sharespace and CORTEX2 consortiums, and its vertical-focused approach that delivers tailored industry solutions.
