Sydney, July 26 2021 – Maud Holvast has been appointed as the new ANZ Country Business Leader for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communication, network, and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries.
Maud brings her rich experience to the Country Business Leader role, having held the Country Business Leader position in the Netherlands before moving to Sydney in 2013 to lead the ANZ region. Following her move to Australia, Maud held several positions such as heading Healthcare for the ANZ region and taking the APAC Leadership role for the Healthcare industry — a key vertical market for ALE. Maud delivered strong growth in the vertical by diversifying the portfolio and go-to-market to better match customers’ needs.
In her new appointment, Maud will work with her team to deliver the top-line and transformation objectives of the business.
“Maud is a seasoned leader with a strong track record and I am confident she will lead the ANZ team to accelerated business growth across our focused verticals and strengthen our partnerships with key business partners. Her leadership style aligns well with ALE’s cultural values of customer focus, reliability, speed and agility. As a result, Maud enjoys great support and relations with our customers and the wider ALE organisation. I’m pleased to welcome her to our diverse and committed APAC Leadership Team,” said Pierre Samson, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.
“Improvements in technology, combined with the global health crisis, have driven accelerated changes in user and organisational behaviour. Agile organisations with a true customer focus, as well as quick learning and decision cycles and empowered teams, are set to thrive. What I love about ALE is that we come with 100 years of experience and have shown a clear capability for adaptation throughout. I’m proud to lead our local agile ALE team. Together with our business partners, we are here to support our customers through their accelerated cycles of change,” said Maud.
Maud holds a bachelor of commercial economics from Hanze University Groningen and an executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management of Erasmus University.
