Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise continues the global deployment of Rainbow Hub in Brazil, Singapore and Canada
Colombes, France, 29 May 2024 - Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, is expanding the deployment of its Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Rainbow™ Hub solution across the globe. This new service from the Rainbow portfolio integrates Cloud PBX functions with the existing collaboration and videoconferencing functions of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s sovereign platform. Initially available across Europe, Rainbow Hub has now been launched in Brazil, Singapore, and Canada, where it provides companies with a complete and innovative cloud communications solution.
Rainbow™ is a cloud communications platform offering businesses communication, telephony, group messaging and videoconferencing tools to facilitate collaboration between employees and improve the customer experience.
In addition to extending the geographic coverage of its service, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise continues to innovate and enrich Rainbow to deliver more services to its partners and customers.
ALE now offers two options for interconnecting the Rainbow Hub platform with the public telephone network:
- Rainbow Carrier Connect is a cloud-to-cloud interconnection between the operator's infrastructures and Rainbow. Certified operators are natively interconnected with the Rainbow platform and are directly accessible from the administration interface, enabling almost instantaneous commissioning.
- BYOT (Bring Your Own Trunk) is a new option that allows customers to connect their trunk with the Rainbow platform, allowing them to maintain operator access and reroute calls to Rainbow. This is a particularly useful solution for customers who wish to adopt Rainbow Hub while retaining their current operator.
ALE continues to innovate and leverage advances in AI (Artificial Intelligence) to improve the user experience. Background blurring and surround noise reduction functions have been added to reinforce the immersion of users in their communications for more productive exchanges. New innovations, based on AI, around the transcription and translation of communications are expected in the coming months.
